I received the same e-mail as the one in the complaint above. The web site that that referred you to was un-stable and I got Amazon.com. If this was ligit, then a stable web site would have been provided when you click on the site to fill out the application. Also, they ask you for the resume, I provided a resume with the response, as well as a cover letter. I had something like this happen before and when you went to fill out the application, they tell you they need a credit report and it takes you to a site when you need to give your social security number. When I had my resume done, I was told to NEVER GIVE YOU SS INFORMATION ON LINE.
I agree that this is a scam and people should beware with Craig's List Posings. I think that it is pretty pathetic that people are out there trying to take advantage of people who are out out work.
