This is a continuation of my previous complaint posting and I am beginning with the remainder of the sentence I was typing. Once you complete the $49 purchase a new page appears with a link that says "click here now to continue." When you click on this link it automatically takes you to another purchase page for the additional VIP upgrade software for the $49 package and the cost is $67. It allegedly provides approximately five more types of software that they send you which is the upgrade to increase your profits and make the process easier - and faster. The only contact information for this scam company is provided AFTER you make a purchase. It is a toll free number 1-888-883-7482 and a website address of http://support. Easykits.org/kayako.
I called this number on a Sunday at 1500 hours EST. A recorded message comes on and states "thank you for calling customer support we are currently closed please call back during our regular business hours of Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm EST, you can also feel free to access our customer support online 24 hours a day at support. Easykits.org." Then the call is ended. My call was placed during the alleged business hours stated in their voice message.
I decided to Google search this to good to be true offer without completing the $67 purchase. All the search results state it is a scam. Even though the webpage information boasts of a 60 day, 100% money back guarantee, this information is only provided AFTER you make the purchase. I posted this information on scambook, then contacted my credit card company, disputed the charge, requested my card be cancelled and a new card with a different number be issued. Even though I was sent this through a text message from a friend, I also changed my email password following my call to my credit card company.
I am going to contact the BBB and FTC as well with this information.
