Mr. Joseph Diaz is a paralegal and modification processor at the JOel M Feinstein Law Office located at (Personal Information Removed). I have good relationships with the Law office. When Mr. Diaz offered me to work on modifications for his own company the Joseph M Diaz Enterprise I became interested and started to negotiate with him after he promised that he could easily handle the modifications for my other properties since during that time the law office had so much business they can barely accommodate. Knowing Mr. Diaz's expertise with handling modifications I was enticed by him to make monetary advances on each property that I wanted to be modified by the corresponding banks. At first Mr. Diaz showed excellent cooperation starting to connect with the bank purportedly to do initiate modification workouts. After having advanced $11,500 he feigned having problems with negotiating with the bank and stopped answering my calls. I continued to call him on the phone and sending him emails after emails to make follow-ups of the workout being done but Mr. Diaz simply does not reply. I gave him warnings about being prosecuted by the consumer advocacy agencies but he simply refuses to call back or respond.
I am a 73 year old man and my wife is also a retired senior citizen. This amount that Mr. Diaz has literally stolen from us is disastrous to my finances. It is virtually denying me of the desperately needed modification at a time when the government is extending help to all distressed properties which is directly affecting my rental properties - the source of our livelihood for me and my wife. This criminal act of Mr. Diaz could cause serious repercussions to our business not to mention our deteriorating health.
Mr. Diaz is a serious threat to society and I want to pursue this case not only because it has affected me and my family but because I don't want others to be taken advantage by this dangerous man.
