Energy Plus Holding started gaving me a much higher rate (17.5 cents after the second month) than the rate in an oral agreement over the phone.
The deal was about 10 cents cents/KWH, and Energy Plus Holdings convinced me I save money monthly if I changed the supplyer from Rockland Electric Company to Energy Plus Holdings.
On the 1st month, it was true, I saved about $6/month (9.9 cents/KWH). However: the second month, I lost about $60/month (17.5 cents/KWH)
Their excuse was the fluctuation system of the electricity. (9.9 to 17.5? Mmm... Skeptical) So, I called Rockland Electric Company to find out their rate.
E.P. H carged 17.5 cents/KWH while Rockland Electric Company charged their customers about 11 cents/KWH (at Nov 20 to Dec 20 billing cycle)
Unfortunately, E.P. H will not adjust the bill. I hope some legal action will be imposed on Energy Plus Holding to protect other customers. I believe my electric usage is lower than that of other families.
