I received a text message on my cell phone "CREDIT UNION ALERT: Your DEBIT CARDhas been DEACTIVATED. Please call our 24hr office 304-550-2756." My on-line check of my debit card revealed no problem. A call to this number was answered by a computer asking me for my 16 digit account number. I hung up. I do not belong to a credit union. My card is a Green Dot card and I just now added $250.00 to the account.
