Two separate small charges to our check card from this company before we shut down and replaced the card number.
First was tiny ($2.50) trying to get a response to see if the card was a good usable number. When you call they ask first question "what card number are you calling about?"
Don't tell them.
They probably send charges to thousands of "maybe good" card numbers.
Many probably work, but to make sure which ones are really good, they are eliciting a response/call to gather more info from the card owner.
Two days later I had a spurious $39.95 charge from them.
My bank doesn't seem interested in pursuing this matter, so I am investigating and intend to pursue this "till hell freezes over".
