Website processes order before you can edit or see S&H charges

I made on order for a hairbrush on the website and after filling out the credit card information, the next screen said that the order had been processed. It did not allow me to edit the order (which I needed to do, since I had accidentally ordered one more brush than I needed) and it didn't allow me to see shipping and handling charges (which were exorbitant) before the order went through.
