Leased to: Burnsdale Farms Would not pay - Falseified Trk. Papers

I Hired on to Parker Transportation (Herman Parker) who is leased to Burnsdale Farms. (Gorden and Wendy Burns) When I first started the first trk I was issued made it about 50 miles and I discovered the water pump was out of it. So they put me in another trk. Hermans personal trk. About half the lights worked on this trk. I had to rewire alot and replace light units just to get it to pass a inspection.

So a trucking we went, I knew in advance this company was in straights as far as money went. But repairs were just unspeakable, Bald tires on the trl. Ect. Well as time went on this trk was in the same repair shop 2 times for repair/re-work. To the point I was going down the road and the turbo gasket blew do to lose bolts. Which I fixed. Bought the gasket, broke out the tool box went to work. Well they expected a call in every day by 9am OK NOT A PROBLEM except when you are in a area where your phone dosent have service All day long. Got ripped over that but good They expected you to stop anywhere to fax your paperwork in as soon as you unloaded. Now some places would fax for you where you unloaded some wouldnt. Got ripped over that.

Finally I found that the trk had no current annual inspect. So I informed them of this (like they didnt know) and I informed them of repairs that needed to be made to bring the trk up to specs to pass a inspect. Well I finally got a fax from them WOW its the inspect. Funny thing is I was in In. Under a load when the trk was being inspected in Mo. NOW HOW DOES THAT WORK So when payday came around there was no pay check. They had no money. So with the waiting week they are into me for 2 weeks pay. Finally on Wed. I recieved a paycheck WOW was it short. No det. Time paid and 100 milesw short of the practial route. Hmmm we questioned them on this and they responded that because I didnt load the load while on home time that I didnt get any Det. Pay on that load even though I sat for 9 hrs at the del. Site. (this was a oversize ld)

Now then I had brought from my home some more gear to help out - 4 chins and binders, A 4ft drop tarp. My personal gear. Now when I left this so called Co. I brought the trk. Home to clean it out. Well my chins and binders were on another trl. So I kept 4 chins and binders off the trk. (same exact chains and binders as thiers) And kept my tarp as well. So now they refuse to pay me because I kept the chains. WOW they are the same darn thing but I agreed to swap back and still NO PAY. At this point they owe me over $2000 dollars for miles driven, work on the trk., and Det. Time.

Yeah I can take them to small claims court, but that dont mean I will get paid even after judement is awarded. The wage and labor board can only make them pay min. Wage for time on the road. What a joke. SO anyone that might by chance run into a Parker Transportation trk or a Burnsdale Farms trk you might want to steer clear there is a good chance they are not legal. AND if you are thinking about taking a job with them well good luck at getting your money...
