A nursing home resident in Scottsdale, AZ got a certified letter implying that he had won a large sum of money and asked him to send in a check for $157. He showed me what he had received. I am a retired attorney and pastoral provider. Reading the fine print, all he "might" receive is a report. This sickens me. Elderly seniors are being ripped off by these bums! What they don't understand is that once they respond to one of these schemes, their name is added to a sucker list and they are deluged with more of these schemes.
