I was contacted through e-mail while looking for a job online. I was told I would be a personal assistant. That I would need to pick up mail and buy things for this person. I was told I would make 400.00/week. This person e-mail me and texted me for over a month. When the check came I deposited it into my checking account as instructed. I waited three days for the check to clear. Then I was told to send a large portion minus my pay to another person who was to send me items in return for the money. Now the bank says I am liable for the money because the bank the check was made on is not paying the check.
