Miscellaneous

I answered an internet ad that offered a free trial of excelatrim. I had to pay 5.95 shippiing. The 5.95 showed up on my credit card as a bank in the UK. A few days ago my credit card company phoned and asked if I had authorized a payment of $79.95 (or something close to $80) to excelatrim. I said no. My card has been cancelled and the charge reversed. I called the toll-free number on the package insert to get a return number. The person who answered just argued with me saying I had to pay because I hadn't called within 14 days. The interent said nothing about 14 days. I have been out of town and just read the insert yesterday. The insert says I will be charged for my free trial if I don't call them within 14 days. That information was not given on the website when I ordered the free sample. I never agree for my card to be used more than once. I cannot find the website again. There is no address information on the package insert. The label on the bottle says "Distgributed by Escalation Health, Wilmington, DE 19808. I told the person on the phone that I wanted to return the product (never opened it), but she continued to argue. I said I would hang up if she continued and she said, okay but... And continued to repeat that I owed the money. I hung up and never got an address where I could return the product.
