Funny how I was awarded a grant that I have never applied for. Then, I saw the fees they wanted for"acceptance of grant certificate". If this were a legitimate operation, they would have just sent a check for a given amount, you don't get a choice that ranges from $10k to $200K, you get what they decide you are entitled to and that's it. A legit grantor would never charge for their grant, this is the part that tipped me off to the possibility that it might be a scam. Lo and behold, turns out it is well listed here on this site, further, there is no watermark in the paper and the paper itself is common tinted copier paper, no letterhead, and the printing is toner not ink, it is single sided and the bar code at the top is bogus as well. I have a bar code reader on my computer and this code does not even register as a real bar code just random letters and numbers, these are just a few things to look for when you get this sort of scam in the mail The next stop for this letter is to the local Postal Inspector, for his perusal I am quite certain they will have fun putting these crumbs out of business.
