Dominos charging extra fees

My fiance and I ordered a sub which came to $5 and some change and the lady asked me if it was a carry out or delivery. I told her it was a delivery and of course u have to order certain limit for them to deliver it which I do understand but what I dont understand is that, they add couple dollars to the bill. I asked the lady if that couple dollar was for the driver thinking I didnt had to tip the guy since it was alreay taken out and she said that the money do not go to the driver and that she had no idea where that money went. I just want to know as a customer where the extra money goes to. Is this dominos way to save extra money by tacking on extra fees to compensate for there loss after paying there employees?
