Took money from a clients card and funds cannot be traced

A client made of credit card payment to me and the payment was processed so happen on the application where the funds went I don't know but I try to use my card and the funds are not available. I tried a refund but if the funds cannot be traced how am i to know when i will get my money. They have no phone ninety to customer serive but it is just a recording. I just want the funds returned back to the cardholder.
