Inability to Log on to Local Net cancellation website - dial up connection

I called the toll free number for localnet.com and I was instructed to either fax a request for cancellation of their services or to go online to: cancel@localnet.com. I was given my user name: thomasiva and an ID# by the customer service representative. When I attempted to log on to the localnet system, a message popped up, "Authentication failed."
