Doubleday Book Club
Unauthorized Charges, Deceitful E-mails

Literature & Books

I registered this book club only a little over per month before. It looked just like a great deal and that I needed some publications for my kids for Holiday. On Dec. 8, I obtained an email to react to my featured choices and that I instantly rejected both publications they'd outlined: Patricia Cornwell "Interface Mortuary" and Dean Koontz "Exactly What The Evening Understands." On Dec. 9, I obtained a verification email that I'd rejected my choices, and so I thought all was good. On Dec. 25, they debited my consideration 42.16 for that publications I'd rejected. I returned and looked over my "verification" email, simply to uncover in the torso of the email that two completely distinct publications were outlined ("Crossfire" and "Complete Dark, No Celebrities") whilst the people I rejected. The publications they outlined were never delivered to me to simply accept or decrease, just the first two were. I attempted to contact "customer support" and that I waited on-hold for pretty much one hour before holding up. I e mailed them additionally, but haven't gotten an answer. I submitted a challenge with my lender and that I needed to alter my bank card number. The corporation is uneven, legal, along with a clear fraud. There must be a way to close them along.
