My mothers boyfriend was pick up by immigration, she went to jorge rivero law firm, she pay a $100.00 consultation and she then gave the amount of $2,000 so they can open up the case and to do their job for my mothers boyfriend, she sign a contract but was told that if nothing was to be done she would get her money back. A so called lawer when to visit the inmate at krome detention center for about 15 to 20 minutes, which we know because of her boyfriend. He was pick up on a monday, on wednesday he was visit by a lawyer which was not jorge rivero for a couple of minutes, while we were waiting for the signature of the criminologist, which they also never called us back. On saturday we receive a called from the inmate asking us what did we do with the lawyer, I replied that' we was waiting for the signature' he said don't do anything else because I am already in my country and ask the lawyer back for your money because they didn't even do anything. We were in shock to know he was deported and weren't even notified. All this happend the same week. On that same saturday I called the lawyer that was representing jorge rivero and gave him the news that his client was deported and he didnt had no idea. When we went back to ask for are money jorge rivero said he couldn't give us anything back just because we sign a contract. The man is a disgrace, how could he keep all are money for a 15 to 20 minute visit, and they didn't even do anything for the inmate, they didn't even know that their client was deported. While we were there we found out the we weren't the only the only ones who this man with his lawfirm had scam. For get about the money, forget about the contract, the man with his law firm didn't do his job right!!! Please to everyone out there donnt go to this law firm they are thief, liars, and donnt know what in the world are they are doing.
