Phone scam

They have called repeatedly saying that 2 years ago some company deposited 1,300.in my account & that I never repaid it. Now they are demanding the 1,300 be returned. They are threatening me with a lawsuit. I called back to get the name of company & the address & was hung up on 1st time. Then they reluctantly gave me the address in New York, but the phone number is for a cell phone here in ca. When I asked them about this they said they use sattelight phones. I asked for the paperwork that I signed for the loan to be faxed to me, they refused. I know this is not how the process works when you do not repay something. They want money or your account information & threaten you to get it. Now I have my bank involved to send me the proof that this never took place.
