Oconto County Family Court Commissioner Frank M. Calvert applies unconstitutional and unwarranted restrictions in his role as Family Court Commissioner. In my case a 2nd attempt at harassment by my ex wife was dismissed, however Mr. Calvert took it upon himself to enact an order barring me from any and all use of social media. Absolutely unconstitutional, and enacted after finding no wrong doing on my part. I tried to address this myself and save the cost of an attorney, and filed for a DeNovo review. My error as I should have challenged only the order which I questioned. Due to the DeNovo exposure, I had an injunction placed against me even though there was NO evidence presented against me, and even further, for nothing more than communication that was court ordered by Oconto County previously. They did not review the communications as was the court order, Judge Conley applied an injunction with no evidence what so ever. This DeNovo hearing would not have been required, had Commissioer Calvert not applied unconstitutional restrictions upon me. He even admitted in court that 'this is how we deal with this stuff up here'. I have the transcripts. Further, Commissioner Calvert not only officiated my wedding, but he also performed it in his own house as he is a close family friend to my ex wife. In neither case did he recuse himself, after allowing my ex to file both cases free of charge, while the conditions for this exception were not met. Oconto County plays by its' own set of rules.
I would also add that the communication that was in questions and was court ordered by Oconto County, was communication specific to my divorce hearing, which is a case in Brown County. With no jurisdiction, Oconto County put an order in place regarding our divorce communication, then later placed an injunction against me for doing nothing more than following their orders.
