I also was a target of the fraud on autotrader. Discovered a vehicle for appoximately 9,000 delivered cash to vendor, never acquired car. Nevertheless per week before I delivered the cash I approached auto-trader since I really could not achieve the vendor via the e-mail address. They inturn required the advertisement off their book although not off the web site ten times later I advised them-this advertisement was a fraud and required my cash back. Their lawyer directed me an extended notice detailing why ATC wasn't liable. I stated should you might have obtained the advertisement off the web whenever you got it from the book I might not have already been offended. Additionally they posted evening following the fraud the advertisement was eliminated by "sellers demand".in my opinion when they might have placed on their advertisement advertisement was eliminated by ATC this could have allerted the general public to some possible issue. There's no showing just how many others got vitimized through this advertisement. I named DA, attorney-general, representative, senator, BBB IC3 and provided Leader Obama nothing is likely to be completed since it doesn't fulfill any requirements of $150,000 in problems. No lawyer will require this since there is insufficient profit this. I really hope we are able to join together and begin a-class action suit against AutoTrader.com.
