Unauthorized charges

I signed up on-line to get a "FREE" credit report from this company, and then I noticed one month on my credit card statement that they were charging me 12.95. When I called the credit card company they said I am being charged by this company as far back as May.

When I called the company (CIC) the woman told me they did do a free credit report for me, but then I was suppose to cancel my free credit report one month later??? I haven't received any services for this money they have been charging me.
