WebScribble WebScribble mail fraud no backup cd received, WebScribble fraud phony template demos

Internet & Web

Well my partner saw WebScribble's website (webscribble.com), and decided to purchase the webNetwork Template. There were problems from the very beginning. First, this webNetwork template they are selling uses an old type PHP code, so its very hard to even find a host that still uses the old servers to match that. It took us a while but we found one. Then after WebScribble did its free installation, we noticed that something didn't look right. The template that they installed for us was not even the same template that they had as a demo on their website. They assured us that the demo that was posted on their website was going to be released soon (but could not give a date) and that everyone got a free upgrade. So we took a closer look at the webNetwork template, and noticed several errors - template flaws. We had to keep contacting Webscribble over and over again to fix these issues. They fixed a few, but then we found more that they could not fix and then they just tried to make excuses to justify the flaws. We tried to contact them via phone several times, and talk to people in different departments to see what was going on. It was strange because every department we tried, there was a guy who answered the phone who sounded the same but used different names. Even when we called the same department back twice we heard the same guy's voice, but the guy claimed he was someone else. So I'm not totally sure about that, but it seems sort of odd. The other thing is that when we purchased the software, we also PURCHASED A BACK-UP CD, WHICH WE NEVER RECEIVED. This so called support guy named "Vince" says to message the sales department. When I did two different times, I never got a response. Finally after months, they claim that they sent it, and I never received it. It's really strange about the backup cd because they never stated that they were out of them. They just never sent it. Just to test them, I said ok, I wanna buy another one from you. The guy on the phone took a long pause, and then said I don't think that is possible, and then hung up on me.

So my partner had taken a screen shot of their website demo template when we purchased it, and a screen shot of the one they installed just to make sure we have the documentation to show they are committing fraud by a bait and switch scam. As far as the template flaws, they admitted in an email that there was a month, day, and year, entry flaw. Then they try to justify it by making all kinds of excuses. The other problem is that there are many other flaws besides the month, day, and year entry flaw.

They also committed mail fraud by not mailing out our backup cd.

Of course after we confronted them about the fraud, they started talking about refunds. However, it was a little too late for that. Once people buy templates from them and start trying to work on the templates, webScribble knows they will probably not want a refund because they already put work into the template, time and money. I told them I would accept a refund, but that refund would have to include the other money for work I had put into it as well, which was hundreds more.

Of Course, this other guy, Alexey, (who also might be pretending to be Vince as well, not sure), stated that their user agreement stated that they can only refund the amount of the template. So my partner is gathering all of the information to take to the authorities.

I told Mr. Alexey that his user agreement is worthless and invalid to begin with, because the template that they installed was not the template that was advertised as the demo (and had many flaws as well). Once they commit a bait and switch fraud, the user agreement is irrevelent.

It's like someone going into a grocery store and leaving with items without paying for them. After you get caught outside, you cant just say, oops im sorry, I'll go back in and pay.

These guys (if there is even more than one of them) are running a huge scam filled with fraud and mail fraud. My partner is in the process of gathering the screenshots and copies of emails and contacting the proper authorities.

Don't let these guys scam you, or say that they will upgrade your template later!!! To begin with, they cannot be posting a demo and selling you something different. Don't even consider doing business with them or purchasing any of their fradulent templates.

I noticed right before posting here, that there were several other complaints about these guys. To those other complaints about webScribble, and to those that have seen my post and have been scammed by them by an act of fraud or mail fraud, or other criminal acts, all you have to do is simply go to your nearest post office and ask to speak with the postal inspector in charge, and let them know what happened. Even transactions that begin on the internet, and continue by mail (if they are going to mail a backup cd, and they don't), or any kind of internet scam or fraud, could be investigated by the Postal Inspector, and if there are issues that thay may not handle, they can refer you to the proper authorities as well.

Apparently these guys are really sharp scam artists that really try hard to look legitimate, and are a little bold because I see a lot of complaints on them, yet somehow their website is still operating. So don't let then them scam you, don't let them make excuses for fraud, you should just report them, so they cannot scam anyone else. They need to pay for the fraud they are committing!!!
