10/5 Asked question about Nokia 6600 phone via Ebay
10/6 8-8:30AM PST Received phone call from Dennis at my home (and found a message on my work phone later). He answered questions I had about the phone. He told me has a business that inwhich he provides unlocking services, in addition he buys phones, including from Nokia. I said that I was interested in buying the phone outright, and asked if I should go back on Ebay and fill out the form there and how would the money order work. Denny gave me the same PalPal story of how they took $20K from his bank account, and referred to www.paypalsucks.com so he would rather not deal with Ebay/Paypal any longer. He said that US Postal Money Order for $200 was best. And he ships with 2-3 business days, with insurance, and tracking number. Additionally, he wouldn't charge shipping.
10:00AM PST I send US Postal Money Orders to address provided.
10/9 US Post Office in Manchester, PA says Money Orders were delivered.
10/9 Sent email to Dennis informing him that the
Money Orders had arrived, and to send tracking number back
10/13 Sent email to Dennis asking for Tracking number to phone shipment...
10/15 Found this site.
#1 I will notify Dennis that he has until Monday 10/18 5PM EST for the Post Office to post the tracking number of either my phone or my $200 dollar refund. Or...
#2 I will finish filing small claims court action, file FTC, FCC, and US Postal Fraud forms (Title 18 federal mail fraud, 18 U.S.C. 1341, wire fraud, 18 U.S.C. 1343).
#3 If I receive either the phone or refund, I shall cancel the filings.
