LLC rip-off! Fraudulent billing, deceptive marketing, unresponsive to billing inquiries

In July I responded to a radio commercial for a free informational CD explaining the ePower and Profits program and how to make lots of money on ebay. I dialed the toll free number mentioned in the advertisement and spoke to a represtative that informed me the free information I requested carried a $9.95 shipping & handling charge. I was somewhat reluctant but thought what the heck, its only $10. The rep then asked me about several other free trial offers that I politely declined. He then offered me an expedited shipping option to get my "FREE" information that I also declined.

Withihn a few business days my ePower and Profits CD arrived. I put the CD in my PC only to see a cute little video explaining how ebay works etc and prompting me to "Activate my free trial". I have learned from experince not to accept such offers. How ironic that I fell prey to this company by doing exactly that when I paid them $9.95 to send me the "FREE" CD.

ON my next credit card statement I saw the $9.95 charge that I had authorized in the phone call. No big deal. I chalked it up to a learning experience.

While reconciling my next credit card statement I found an unautorized charge of $34.95 for ePower VIP Auctions. I immediatly called my credit card company to dispute the charge. They will have to investigate the dispute and suggested that I contact ePower and Profits to ask that the charge be credited back to my account. After staying in que with ePower and Profits support for about an hour my call got dumped.

In looking at my online credit card statement of recent charges not yet billed, I found yet another $34.95 unauthorized charge. I contacted the credit card company again to dispute that charge as well but was politely advised that I could not dispute a charge that had not yet billed. If I wanted to dispute the charge later I would have to initiate another dispute after my statement closing date.

I went to the ePower and profits website to find more information. I sent an email message to support@epowerandprofits.com on September 09 as suggested but have yet to get a response.

I am willing to do what ever it takes to alert other consumers to the deceptive practices of epower and profits.
