I was surfing my computer as normal and I kept getting a pop up message system is unprotected (to that sort) I ignored it several times. Eventually, the message told me don't ingnore security warning or else it'll cause system crash, I continued to ignore it around the final times the same message pops up only this time tellimg me that system is vulnerable and can possibly be hacked, I continue to ignore this because this could be phoney; all the while my internet will cut off and I have to cut it back on. Finally the system said my financial information is vulnerable and will be hacked (oh no, don't want this) so I went ahead and downloaded the application. Later I checked my credit card statement and I see an unusual transaction from newweb2012.com; the purchase amount looked familiar but yet unfamiliar. I imidiately submitted a dispute, also associated with this purchase was a foreign transaction fee. I called the bank to get a contact number for this transaction, nothing there; I researched the website what I found in the search engine is it lead me to Russian communities and then finally I stumbled across another rip off report and new that I wan't alone in this situation. Long story short, the antiviral software I purchased from this so called microsoft pop up was a Mcafee plus, the download isn't working on the computer so I uninstalled it altogether after I heard this is a rip off, I didn't get a receipt of purchase or a confirmation number neither an account to set up which you normally would recieve this from any purchase you make online so you can review these purchases for future reference; I find no way to contact this merchant except my e-mail which I'm still waiting. But with all this hardship, I think it's best to cancel the service. My advice is to you is not to purchase this website and if so try to contact your computer dealer and ask them how to assist you in a case like this, to possibly erase this message from your system.
