This employer is run by a man named Bill with an iron fist.

I am afforded a 1 hour lunch by Ontario's labour law. On my 1 hour lunches I usually go once a week to a scheduled doctor's appointment.

Bill forced me to sit in his office and explain my medical issues - in detail - also that of my wife's medical needs (because on my lunch hour I would sometimes run home to drop of her prescriptions of that of my 3 year old son). He even threatened to call my doctor on the phone to confirm my medical conditions! A clear breach of privacy.

Though a condition of my employment was access to a car - I was forced to have my car on site - every day with no exceptions! The company paid only $. 38 a KM! This was true even on days when there was no anticipated need for me to travel and Bill was unwilling to work with me on these conditions. I agreed on the assumption I wouldn't need it every day and there was flexibility.

Bill excused me of lying to him - because I left the office on my lunch hour! I was not paid for my lunch - it was my time.

Bill loaded inordinate amounts of work on me - a new employee with little training - and expected perfection and considered a review of a work book and a hour sit down with a remote trainer as a complete training process!

I would never recommend working or doing any business with Bill and his shady organization. I should have filled a formal complaint with the Ontario Labour Relations board - but I didn't.
