Multiview.com Sell Newsletter Spots for $1500 3/month with a click ratio of less than 0.2%

Internet & Web

A rep from this company called Preston Clark called our company several times to get through our marketing department to sell a spot in a Catering Newsletter. After being so persistent and getting a hold of our contact information via email I responded and told him that we do not usually use this type of advertising.

He was very persuading and sold us a spot that was $1,500/3 month for $500 for one month, telling us the click ratio was very high because people sign-up for this newsletter is not a mailing list. He was very pushy for us to sign up right away because the newsletter was about to run and he got us a special deal because they don't do it for less than 3 months.

Our ad run for 30 days and we received 31 clicks out of 9,866 impressions (that's 0.3% click ratio) no ROI (0 Sales even if we advertised with a coupon code), worst $500 EVER SPENT!

After the ad running 2 weeks I called and told Mr.
