Is not a place that I would ever shop again

I recently went through a big ordeal with Tigerdirect.com and their return policies. I ordered a computer for my boyfriend for Christmas and when we plugged it in the power supply instantly went bad.

I was disappointed to say the least so I called Tiger the next day and they told me to call the manufacturer of the power supply. I called the numbers that they gave me and received nothing more than a voice recording.

On good faith I left a message. There was no call back and the next day I left another message. And the next day, you get the picture.

I then proceeded to call Tiger back because they had told me that if the manufacturer didn't do something about this problem that they would. Tiger informed me that it had been past 30 days since the computer was shipped and that they would do nothing. I called back several times to at least get some kind of support for my problem.

I even had our local A certified computer tech. Examine the computer to verify that that was the problem. They insisted on doing nothing.

It got to the point where we had to look for other options and we came to find that the processor (what makes the computer run) was cracked. This computer was completely useless to anyone who would want to use it and Tiger provided no assistance what so ever to remedy this problem.

I found that I had no other choice but to write this report to explain my disgust at this "people friendly" internet company.

I will never buy from them again. Besides all of this, their sales reps were totally impolite to say the least.

We are battling to get the charge off of our credit card bill before they are completely paid for this.
