Ripoff synpathetic ripoff bogus letter stating that she or he was a widow from Nigeria

This person e-mailed me with this synpathetic letter stating that she or he was a widow from Nigeria, and needed help securing funds from a account. Claims that this is all to help her family and says 25% will go to me... I donot appriciate this at all! Amd what about the ones who try and help this person? I acually beleived this and gave my phone #, and was going to get involved. I called my brother just to check on some info for me, and he said this has been on the internet for about 10 years? This article that this person claims is true... Www.this day on line.com june 8... So, this can't be that old. Something about, the General of Nigeria wife, a widow now needs help securing funds from a savings bank... And offering the helper 25% of the money. I am outraged!!! How can this person do this!!! Please help exspose who ever this is and stop the maddness. Thank you
