Stole my money!

Lik many others I came across A.W. Surveys who were offering small sums to take part in some undefined surveys.

Having registered I read the small print and realised the operation was really a 'Pyramid' scam where you make even MORE money by getting people to register on the site through your link. It also said I could not receive any payment until I had earned $100, and I needed to log in periodically to keep my account 'live'.

So I stuck with the surveys, and rapidly made $15. At which point my account disappeared! I sent several messages through the online form on the site, to no response. I then mailed their 'owners' Aclarn Inc, with equal lack of success.

I had no issue with the low fees - the site was upfront about it, even though they lied about the number of surveys that would be available. I understood the need for a minimum payment, even though charging $25 to get the money from PayPal seemed steep?

What REALLY annoyed me was the fact that I did what was asked, earned the cash in thier terms - and they STOLE it from me!

To make matter worse sites offering freelance work are now being plagued with people logging on and promoting A.
