Perforum - EMS
EMS - Perforum ripoff Website Marketing system scam They are not offering the fantastic service that they seem to be, and I believe that they are simply making money at other people's expense

Internet & Web

Back in January, I was stupid enough to believe EMS when they called me to offer a training / coaching package that would help me build an e-commerce website, using secret, insider techniques to get my site targetted traffic. They promised me the Earth on the initial calls, but in particular, they told me that they had a team of 147 people who would be marketing my site for me whilst I learned to do it for myself. This last point is important - I'll get to it soon!

The first hurdle to overcome was that their own hosted web store couldn't handle the products I wanted to sell, so I set up my own with a different supplier, at the recommendation of my coach. They're STILL charging me the monthly hosting fees, despite numerous e-mails to ask them to stop!

After a few weeks of coaching, I had a website up and running but was only getting "public domain" type information from my coach, mainly centred around getting high rankings on Google (which didn't work!) Eventually, I asked when the marketing from their side would start. My coach knew nothing of any marketing! In fact, he told me they had this one guy who did some marketing stuff, but he'd quit!

Eventually, I got onto one of the directors at Perforum who also promised me the Earth (since I was getting quite angry by now) but he too stopped delivering when I calmed down!

I'm now in the situation that I'm out of pocket by $3000 (the initial fee) plus the $39.95 monthly fee which they've been charging since February! I'm in the process of having this monthly fee stopped, but their one-sided contract makes it difficult to get any recourse via my credit card supplier.

I've tried writing to EMS / Perforum, but they ignore my e-mails and my letters.

I'm sure when they read this, they'll respond (as they have with others who've complained here) that they only provide coaching and that my rewards are based on my efforts. Well, I did everything they said, and the only time I got ANY sales, was when I ran my own ad's on Google AdWords (which resulted in my losing even MORE money!)

Considering that their promises have not been met and that I've done everything that I was required to do on my side, I feel that it is reasonable of me to ask for a refund. This request has been wholeheartedly ignored by Perforum!

To anyone who reads this: PLEASE avoid EMS / Perforum AT ALL COSTS! They are not offering the fantastic service that they seem to be, and I believe that they are simply making money at other peoples expense.
