Contractor ripoff

I worked on contract as technical support for the Himpton hotel in seattle, wa. I only worked one day as I found that what I was told about the position did not match up with what was actually available. I was told that it was a three month project.
However, the manager at IT for Himpton said it was a 'casual' and 'occasional' work that would be intermittent. A day here, and a day there sort of. I was offered the job at $22hr, yet when I accepted, I was told that I* would be paid $19hr. For these two main reasons, I decided not to continue working for the Bluewolf company.
This was October 28 (the day I worked) I write this on Jan 11 and have still not been paid by the Bluewolf company. I have sent several emails (when they were hiring, it was easy to get a reply, now, not so easy) I have spoken on the phone to several persons.
