I read a report from about the middle of 2003 that was very similar to my experience. I received a fax that indicated someone had signed us up for a webpage by WebpointUSA, only the person was not an authorized company representative nor would they ever agree to something like this. I called them up immediately when I read their fax saying how they were going to bill through the phone company and so on.

Just like the other report they also had a "authorized recording" that sounded like a 5th grader spliced together bits of audio. It was obvious from listening to this report the person was not answering questions that would lead to this type of service agreement. Luckily when I called they remedied the problem without a hassle and said they would not be charging anything. Hopefully that is the case.
