Recently this company appeared on my bank statement as having made a withdraw of $419.00 from my checking account. Listed as a non-pin transaction. They state their name is careerbuilder and list the following number: 800-891-8880 I. When you google this number you get the name of what is listed as a "cash advance service" and a webpage that leads you nowhere: mwww.maclenet.com/ubsaahzri/casadvser.html. The webpage description references careerbuilder. I have no idea how my account information was hacked. I did not authorize any transaction at careerbuilder or with any cash advance service. I had recently used my debit card online at the shoe company DSW and had some other transactions at restaurants and a gas station. I am still waiting for my bank - U.S. Bank - to investigate and hopefully return the money to my account.
