Yahoo Auction ripoff. Never received Tablet PC, bad tracking numbers, non-comunicative, blames employees but won't fix himself Or Lansdowne

On Jan. 8, ordered and paid for a Tablet PC. At the time, he had NO negative Seller Ratings and 11 good ones. He was to ship it to my home but never did. Then he was to ship it to me in San Antonio while I was on a trip there. Sent me a tracking number which was not for my machine. Never arrived.

He then claimed that someone (an employee or a postal worker) must have stolen it. He was to put in an insurance claim.in the meantime, he was going to send an upgraded machine. When he didn't do that, he claimed that the units he had may have been defective and that he was waiting on a new shipment of even newer models.

Next he claimed that it would go out on a Tues. Sent me a number which he claimed was a legit tracking number. It wasn't. He would not answer calls or emails for several days.

Finally says that he just doesn't care about this part of his business and that he's getting out of the computer shipping business. Yet he continues to put up new items for Auction on Yahoo!

He says that he just doesn't have time to research to see if my order actually went out or not. I asked for a refund. He'll have his accounting dept. Work on it for me and several others that have requested refunds.

I doubt I'll see the check this friday, as he promised it (for whatever THAT's worth). If i get it, I'll edit this report but I would still NEVER do business with this individual again.
