Potential ID and credit card fraud

I've been buying my regular energy online from IBUY for some time today. Our charge card has terminated, and consequently changed. Consequently, my charge card facts have to be updated. IBUY doesn't update your charge card info online, via their protection application. Alternatively they need one to send them evidence of home, a duplicate of one's identification along with a backup of one's charge card??? Doesnt this leave the doorway available for identification and charge card scam? All of the banks are warning their clients not to hand out private information such as this. Why do they've the protection application in position if they're skipping all of the security functions. Much more of the problem, may be the guy calling herself JOE, talks having an AfricanFrench highlight? Just how can we as customers be sure of our protection in such instances? IBUY cant seem to provide any guarantee that the info is secure, apart from stating, 'It Is never occurred before'. I actually donot desire to be the very first!!!
