Datingsitebuilder is a piece of CRAP. Seriously. I've used Homestead to create and publish sites, and it's a million % more user friendly and offers many more features. With Datingsitebuilder you cannot do simple things like re-sizing photos, change layouts other than the template ones they offer. There are only 4 FONTS to choose from and that doesn't get better if you're an ENTERPRISE customer so don't fool yourself – you only pay more – there is NO dedicated support.

As the other complaint states, the support is ridiculous. It's a list of Q&As that are all written in bad English. I submitted a ticket as one of their TOP OF THE LINE ENTERPRISE CUSTOMERS and when I logged in the next day – poof gone! No response, just gone. Here's the best part... I was actually inquiring with them about the extra $49.00/month for the unlimited profiles from the shared profile network. So they lost the opportunity to cash in on that too. Shows you how good the “ticket” system is!

Back to trying to build a site: It is in NO WAY dynamic. The “content items” are pre-created can cannot be changed. Yes, you can click and insert, but ONLY into one of their standard template layouts of which there are about 8 maybe 10 in total. Don't be fooled by the demo on their website. If you watch closely, they only show how to add content to the home page. If you also watch closely the 3 pictures the demo inserts are all the same size (pre-sized for the demo).in REAL LIFE, to make a picture fit you have to play and play and play with it outside of the program and upload and upload and upload until it fits just right or it throws the whole thing off. You can spend HOURS just trying to get 1 picture to fit into the stupid template box properly. Also, you cannot change the face of the navigation buttons, they only allow that on the home page. The list goes ON and on.

If you want a very very very basic site that looks like it was made by a 7 year old kid, use Datingsitebuilder.

On the topic of stability, it is operating from at least 1 SQL server, why do I know this? Because when I was trying to work on my site it went down and I got a message saying there was an Error 11 on the SQL server. So there you go. It's down and I haven't even published my site yet. I had to go walk my dogs and come back later to finish working on it. So much for the "up time" guarantee.

In order to get your money back from these guys go directly to their payment processing company: www.2CheckOut.com and give them the # you got on your confirmation email when you paid originally. They say on their website they offer a 30 day guarantee on the subscription, so the credit card payment processing company MUST honour that.

Also, don't buy any software from them. The girl said to me the policy is they have a 30 day money-back guarantee on subscription items only, not software. Luckily I hadn't bought any. Also, I don't know anyone who would buy the software this site uses, seriously it's a joke. Can't speak to what it's like to have this site go-live, and what it's like to manage users, because frankly, I didn't feel like I could create a professional looking site that I would be proud to put my name on.

Judging by the initial front-end experience I had, I'm entirely sure that when the site goes live, the problems only persist.
