Deceptive advertizing

I usually do not respond to unsolicited advertizing. However, when it comes to a loved one who is deperately trying the quit smoking, one tends to look at all options. The Directecig ad entices you with a great deal if you "act now" as they cannot (of course) offer to many people this great deal (yah right) you pay $5 or $6 bucks shipping and they send you a trial ecig. What they dont tell you and they say its in the printed add (I cannot find it) is that after 14 days you have to pay $109 bucks if you havent sent it back.

Well, my wife has been sick almost the entire 14 days, so not only do we not know it is going to work for her... We are now charged teh $109. They would not extend teh trial period when I asked them to... All tehy wanted was their $100... I dont think we would have taken them up on their offer if they made the terms clear. Additionally I would assume we were just careless in purchasing on the net for not seeing the "trial period clause" except there seems to be several folks posting the same complaint. Looks like a scam to me
