This so-called dating site offers a three day evaluation for about $1.95. I first became suspicious when I kept seeing identical photos of attractive women paired with wildly varying written "profiles." I then discovered that there were many "member profiles" that contained identical wording in the autobiographical remarks, but these were paired with varying photos of different women. It is nearly impossible to discern which of the profiles you may be looking at are totally bogus, and from what little I saw, a high percentage of them are rubbish.

The profiles that appeared to be authentic were so illiterate and poorly composed that no man with a three digit I.Q. Would be caught dead with such a date.

Don't even waste your time on the three day trial — you're much better off going with a legitimate service like eHarmony, even though you pay more. The matches there are real women, and much higher functioning than the losers, high school dropouts, teenage moms, trailer park trash and fake profiles you will encounter on Mate1.com.
