Denial to offer service

Rip off Report:

To all interested parties:

I installed AVG Virus protection program on my computer. Recently, I received a notice on my screen that the program was out of date. It instructed me to download the new version. When I tried to download it, it informed me that it could not install it on my computer Windowss98 Second Edition, that it works on newer versions. Then I tried to un-install it, it only un-installed a portion of it and now it locks up my computer. When I emailed and called to AVG several times they did not offer any resolution. When I checked on the internet, I found other similar complaints about AVG. I hope you can review this complaint, publish it, and possibly assist me so others will be knowledgeable about the problem and convince AVG to respond and thus be a responsible merchant.
