James Pazzaglia, Fraud - Won't Pay for Goods Purchased and Sell Stolen Goods

Network Recovery Group contacted us to buy equipment. We agreed to sell them a switch. They said we would receive a check for $1600 the day after they received the switch. They gave us a tracking number and we sent the switch on Jan. 16.

Network Recovery Group confirmed they received the switch on January 21 and the run around started.

We sent dozens of emails requesting payment. Below is their litany of excuses for not paying us:

Feb. 5 - Bob Ronzio says they are in the process of moving and will investigate.

Feb. 9 Bob Ronzio says we were lost in the shuffle and says a check was sent out that day.

Feb. 24 Bob Ronzio says he will cancel the check and send a new one.

Apr. 10 We finally hear from James Pazzaglia. He says:
Hello,
I does appear we sent a check weeks ago. Our bank is closed today in observance of Good Friday let me contact the bank on Monday to ensure the check hasnt been cashed. If it hasnt, ill issue stop payment, and get a new one out on Monday.
Apr. 21 Someone named Brian at Network Recovery Group says the previous check was returned undeliverable. And that he will send a new check.
We still havent received the check.
So we filed a small claims case in Maryland for $1,600. The Court received proof of service on James Pazzaglia, Network Recovery Groups registered agent.network Recovery Group did not file an answer and did not show up for the hearing. The judge reviewed all of our email correspondence and ruled in April that Network Recovery Group owes us $1,600. The judgment was mailed to Network Recovery Group c/o James Pazzaglia, but they still refuse to pay us.

Connecticut tells us we have to file suit again there to get another judgment against Network Recovery Group. We are about to start that process.

Moral of the story: don't trust Network Recovery Group - the check IS NOT in the mail!
