ITunes Will not allow me to redownload a HD tv series or give a refund for content I did not receive

Purchased 2 complete HD tv series using AppleTV. Synced with my iTunes library and lost about 10 Hd episodes. Reported the problem. They queued up 1 of the series and I tried to redownload again and it crapped out. Now Apple says to bad, no more download attempts and no refunds. $100 lost! Spent hundreds of dollars on iTunes this last year. Do not buy the new AppleTV. Buy Blurays. At least you will have what you paid for.
