Gift card fraud, scam, rip-off

I have been waiting 6 months to receive a $100 gift card i was supposed to receive from qwest. Originally they told me i would receive it within 4-6 weeks. I called after 8 weeks and asked about it and they said they had no record of it. I had to talk to a supervisor to have it entered in manually into the system but she assured me i would have it within 4-6 weeks of that date (july 27th).

It is now september 14th (7 weeks) and i just called back. The rep said that it was not processed until september 6th so now i am supposed to wait another 4-6 weeks from today.

I googled "qwest gift card scam" and it turns out many other people are having this same experience and never receive the card. It's all a scam. I expected better from a well known company like qwest and am calling now to cancel my account.
