Fraudulent Credit Card Charge for $39.71

I'm a careful online shopper, only buying from merchants and card processors I trust. I've stopped in mid purchase if I don't recognize the credit processor or have any doubts. I'm very cautious.
My bank sent me an email alert that an online transaction charge had been made to my account by lafincs.com. A google search revealed little but a shell of a website that looks like a credit processing site. One button to "cancel membership" and another to "retreive membership information", their phone support number, and a short spiel about calling their support number before doing a credit card chargeback.
I called the number and got a menu that asked for my credit card # and expiration date. Since I hadn't subscribed to anything I had no way to provide them with a subscription ID # and wasn't about to provide them with any more credit card information. I couldn't get past the menu to a live operator.
Of course I closed my credit card account and will dispute the charge. I will contact the FBI, UK authorities, and any other interested enforcement agencies and consumer groups. I'm the sort of person who takes time to file a complaint. I follow up.
