PGHConnect (Ad-base Systems)
Grossly overcharged me would not cancel account erroneous charges continue

Internet & Web

This Internet Service Provider (PGHConnect) advertised a free backup account with a one time charge of 9.95. I gave them my credit card number to open this account, and used them for not more than a total of *2 hours (all told). I am supposed to get 25 free hours free a month.

In October I was billed $31. (or over 3000 minutes *usage), and I promptly closed my account by email. I requested a confirmation number, but none was given. Now, in November, I am being billed the additional amount of $17.95. When I call to complain about all of this, I am told that my account was upgraded at some point, but at last am given a confirmation code. I am contesting these charges with my credit card company, but I believe that these charges were deliberate.
