Internet & Web

On 11/4/03 this company came up in my search agent on Monster.com I immediately hit the apply on line button to apply for the position through monster. I then went to the companies website directly from monster and re-applied. The e-mai was returned. Since I recognized the format of this new company I re-sent the following e-mail

Subj: Your Monster Ad

To whom it may concern:

This is my second submission to the abovementioned advertisement. I have received various mailer damon messages each time it has been sent.

Your position for an accounting specialist came up in my agent on monster.com. While I did hit the apply now button after perusing your site I decided to attach my resume along with this email. I am a Peachtree Specialist and also a member of the Best Software Accountants Network. As a result, I have my own software licenses for all versions of Peachtree Complete Accounting to date which include and the Premium Accounting 2004 Accountants Edition. I would be interested in becoming an Accounting Specialist or Payroll Specialist.

While I am not a CPP I am a member of the APA and have been for four years. I haven't become a CPP because I haven't had the time to prepare for the exam. The same holds true for the CB exam because I am a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. I have over twenty years of experience in the industry and would like to take your test. Please contact me with all pertinent information regarding the matter. I have no need to purchase any Peachtree software. I do not own any ADP licenses however I am proficient in ADP, Ceridian and Kronos payroll timekeeping and processing applications. I look forward to hearing from you soon regarding the matter.

Sincerely,
Michele

Fortunately for me I remembered my experience with Career Training Solutions. Though I passed all of their exams they couldn't provide me with clients. They tried like the devil to get me to pay for their oracle training since I'd tested out of Peachtree and Quickbooks Pro. I refused. To date I have received no response from the company regarding career opportunities. More than likely they remember me from March which was when I first contacted CTS. This is all a scam in order to get your money for training that will either cease to be and most certainly will not get you a job with their client.
I did a little internet research and discovered that this www.invoicedpayroll.com is located in Memphis TN and has a direct link to www.certiplace.com

While the phone number given for Certiplace is a working number the number for Invoiced Payroll doesn't work. I reported this information to monster and gave them all pertinent information including the negative report listed by the bbb for career training solutions. This scam is turning into a nightmare and all should be forwarned. Since I simply didn't find employment and never paid them anything I strongly suggest that those of you who have lost monies contact www1. Fccfbi. Gov the internet fraud complaint center and report these people.
