ReachLocal Promised Me Much and Delivered Little, Cheated Me Out of Thousands

I own a flooring store in Miami and I wanted to share my experience with Reachlocal.
We were approached by a ReachLocal ; Inc agent who works in for South Florida.

The agent analyzed Americarpet's results and expenses by words under each account. The agent analyzed Americarpet's web marketing campaign Americarpet was using with Google and Yahoo. He promised me that by using the company's software and algorithms, Americarpet's web marketing campaign would be more effective and less expensive. He further promised that by using their service Americarpet's business would greatly increase.

Based on the agent's promises, I switched my web marketing campaign and signed a four month contract with Reachlocal for $1,200 per month. I used their service for four months and during that time my business did not increase at all; in fact, its sales went down as compared to when Americarpet was using their prior marketing campaign. Reachlocal misrepresented its services and its benefits. We were paying an average of $3.30 per word with ReachLocal Inc, whereas we pay $1.55 per word with our own pay per click campaign. Furthermore, we called them, E-mailed them and sent certified letters without any answer. This is how bad it is.

I want to warn everyone about them.
