Anti-Virus Software Deceptive automatic renewal to credit card and software never worked. Hours on phone, no refund

Do not use this company Norton - Symantec Antivirus software. The only way you can activate the software is to give them your credit card for automatic renewal. If it does renew, the software doesn't work and you need to call them and spend hours on the phone to fix the problem. No refunds. Your credit card company can not reverse the charges because you signed away those rights when you agreed to purchase the software, without giving you an option.
NOt sure why they go out of their way to be so deceptive for a few extra bucks. THis use to be a great company. NOw service is outsorced to India and they really don't care about your complaits. I'm looking for an anti-virus software company that stands by their products and doesn't use scams to get by. AVOID this company and any other company that forces you into an automatice renewal.
