Unauthorized charges to bank account never heard of them before until they charged me $40.00 for nothing!

I had never heard of this company until my bank account was mysteriously missing funds. Upon checking my statement I found a charge from this company in the amount of $40.00
I am having no luck so far getting them to refund my money or even to explain what it is for.
It is in conjunction with an internet scam involving a $00.99 trial offer for a teeth whitening system, from what I can find out so far.
