This is absolutely the worst company I have had to deal with. I try to be a patient person but these people have worked my nerves. When I spoke with them initially on the phone I told them exactly what I would need from them to design a website for us.
I was assured by Gabe Miles that they could and would complete the website to our specifications. After I did all the wording and forwarded the information to them they cut and pasted the information into their template. I expressed my distaste and was told that the website was done and that I could request an update later. So I agreed and thought I could just request updates to get the website the way that I wanted it to look.
When I called to add another page and request an update. They immediately took the $100.00 out of the account and then told me that I would need to pay $45.00 per every 15 minutes of work. They were not sure how long it would take to get the website to look how I wanted it to. So I told them that I did not appreciate being nickled and dimed just to get the web site to look the way it SHOULD have looked from the start. I requested a refund of the $100.00 which they would not refund until I threatened to sue them.
I signed up with another company to get our website up and running properly then when I requested to have the DNS servers updated HIT Web design told me that I needed to pay $80.00 or they would not release our domain name. There's nothing we can do about it because Dave Aitken signed up for the hosting and we are not listed as the owners of the site. I filed a small claims suit against them on Friday. So please read all of the other reports on this company.in my opinion HIT Webdesign are all LIARS and CROOKS and they will transfer you from one department to another and keep you on the line for hours spinning you round and round.
